Safety Lock generally are used in dirty dusty enviroments in order to avoid damages, scrathes, bangs to the piston rod and used on lifting heavy lids. Safety Lock locks the stroke in full extended lenghth to avoid any accdents.
The safety tube is available in plastic or metal.
